I am a novice feltmaker and was was so fortunate to be on holiday in New York and able to visit this fantastic exhibition. When in the Yurt I was transported to another world.

My visit to the palace at the cooper-hewitt was a VERY moving day for me. The details in the curtains are over the TOP The texture, colors, the wonderful light streaming thru the panels is just magical.
My visit with Janice Arnold and having the pleasure of her company was a real special day. only another feltmaker can truly feel the engery that went into this installation. I can only hope that this Palace will travel to other locations so that other parts of the country can also enjoy this outstanding piece of work.
My photos of this day well be shared with many in my circle.
Thank you Janice

Sally – Thank you for your kind comments. I didn’t get to visit the installation as much as I would have liked during the 6 months it was up, but am thrilled that I was there when you visited. I keep my fingers crossed that more venues will open up so more people can appreciate this humble fabric as an art form.
